I purchased the 3-point retractable seatbelts (black) from seatbeltsplus.com recently, and got around to the installation this weekend.
I should mention that the people who have posted on these forums have been a great help.
The retracting mechanism that mounts just inside each door at the previous lap belt's bolt location does not leave much room. I used the factory bolt as well as hardware from SB+ to mount the unit to the cab floor on each side of the truck. Don't worry. You will not close the door against the new unit.
The shorter belts using the push button release were mounted in the same bolt locations as their factory predecessors.
I would say the floor installation(s) took little time and was easy even for a novice like myself.
As I looked over the mounting holes on the b-pillar I became concerned that the 7/16-20 bolts provided with the belts might be cutting things a bit close, and opted to use 3/8-16 bolts found at O'Reilly with plenty of clearance for the belt to move freely. I have never used a tap-and-die set before, but chose to purchase the 3/8-16 tap and do it myself. I took it slow and deliberately, and was bolting the last bolt in the 3-point restraint in no time at all.
I will take and post a pic or two if requested. The main reason for my post is to pay it forward. Whether you are experienced or not, you can handle this upgrade.

That's my next task, so pictures and a write up about any issues you may have had during your install will be much appreciated. Was this install for bucket seats or the bench seat? Thanks

Re: Seatbelts Installed!
I would love to see pics. I just did this installation - thanks very muck for the idea about tapping and using the 3/8" bolts.
I used the factory mounting points and bolts, but I had a problem making the retractor unit fit between the door and seat. I had to tilt the retractor about 15 degrees. It still works, but just isn't as clean a look as I would like.
Is there a way around this that I am overlooking?
Thanks!
