Re: Post your truck cabs!
Love it guys! I am having a hard time spending that much on the sound deadener/insulation. I look at your cab, Randy, and see hundreds of dollars. There MUST be a cheaper/better way!! I'm too cheap.

Well, I'm not as young as I used to be. It seems I forgot that, even though I read it once or twice. That is a heck of a lot better. Think I will order some up today. Thanks for the remindersargentrs wrote:Actually, I've got around $85 in that install, Josh. 2 rolls of Peel 'n Seal from Lowe's http://www.lowes.com/pd_154017-81326-PS625_0__ , and 1 roll of EZ Cool insulation (50 sq ft) http://www.lobucrod.com/ , 1 can of spray adhesive http://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-24-oz-Rub ... lfcddJ6Z2o and 1 roll of aluminum tape. Here's my cab mounted on my frame. And so it sits since last October. Life is not "bump friendly".

Re: Post your truck cabs!
I don't know about current availability, but used to be a standard car parts store item. Just a steering wheel cover that comes with a long plastic ribbon to wrap around the steering wheel + cover. I've had one on my cracked chevy wheel since the late 80's.
Cheers,
Duane

Came with the truck. I do remember buying this style wheel wrap back in the day for my 70 Ford Ranchero (way back).
