Don't know about that switch, but I know that the stock module and switch from a '78-'86 Ford truck/bronco plugs into the stock wiring. One side note, the '80-'86 switches need the windshield washer fluid portion rewired.

Thanks I knew about the ones out of the 79- 88 ? i think has been a while since I drove the 87 ford I can't remember if the knob was like a pot and you could adjust speed or it just had a delay. Plus the old switches are going for $50 and up an flea bay . for $20 more new switch instead of an over 20 year old. Module on rock auto is over $200 and they go bad. I need to pull the switch and look at the plug see if it matches mustang. The have them for the 65-66 two speed and the 69-70 and the 71-73 mustangs

Seeing as how they kept the same pigtail for close to twenty years, I'd say it's a safe bet that it's plug and play. You may have an issue with the length of the shaft though, as that did change over the years.

Not to "rain on your parade"... However, that base of that switch looks pretty large.... will that fit into the same area as the stock switch ?

I don't know if it will fit in the stock spot in the dash . I'm more concerned if the plug looks the same. I plan on mounting it up in the stock f600 spot on the instrument cluster. I plan on using the washer function on the original switch in the dash for trip od reset on my electric speedo.
